Who is meeko°?

Meeko is a bonded leather mat, built for wear and for life on the go. Behind the mat are two girls & one mini based in Adelaide, SA. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as Traditional Custodians of the land. We're female founded & take pride in having sourced a sustainable product and packaging, we are constantly looking for ways to minimise our carbon footprint.

What's life without a little chaos and mess? We wanted to design products that embrace everyday mess, a little chaos and left over spaghetti bolognese. It means the world to us you're supporting our small biz. We spent 2 years putting meeko° to the test on our family, friends & a lot of baby drool to make sure you fall in love with the mat.

What is meeko° made of?

I’m made from bonded leather and backed with flocked suede. This means my top is soft to touch, but my back can easily grip onto surfaces. My top is soak-proof, it’s made with Polyurethane (PU), which makes me easy to wipe clean and acts resistant to stains.

Perks: it means germs can’t soak through me. I’m made of up to 12% recycled leather, along with other non-leather materials that are BPA and Phthalate free. I like my products like I like my people - non toxic. I’m sustainable and designed here in Australia.

Make sure to always hang me when wet and let my dry before packing away. Please see my care instructions to keep me happy.

Why did you arrive so wrinkly?

I call it character… BUT folding me for long periods can cause creases to develop, lie me in the sun for an hour or 2 to de-wrinkle and hang me by my hook to release any lines. I’m the Benjamin Button of play-mats.

Can't wait? Put my in the dryer for 10 mins on low to uncrease asap.

My team pack and ship orders Monday - Friday. Free fast shipping is available on all Australian orders over $150. Orders under $149 will incur a $9.95 flat rate charge. International Shipping will be calculated at the checkout. Please note I'm currently only shipped to Australia, UK, Ireland, New Zealand & Canada.
